CCRA FY 12/13 Budget

The CCRA amended 11/12 FY budget and 12/13 FY budget will be presented for approval on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 5:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at 101 Old Main Street. The budget can be reviewed beforehand at www.bradentonccra.com.

Community Meeting - 13th Avenue Community Center History at Grocery Store Site

July 19, 2012 at 6:30 PM at the 13th Avenue Dream Center, along with the United Community Centers, we invite community residents to give their input on how they would like to remember the history of the old 13th Avenue Community Center at the site of the new urban format grocery store, where the community center was located for 75 years.

A New Grocery Store is Coming to Central Bradenton!

The Central Community Redevelopment Agency is excited to announce that a new grocery store is coming to central Bradenton. We are excited that this store will bring jobs for residents in construction and retail, fresh food for residents of central Bradenton and the downtown, and retail in the attached retail as part of the urban format grocery store. We anticipate that this beautifully designed and landscaped plaza will spur economic development in the surrounding neighborhoods, and become a catalyst for growth as grocery developments have done in other communities. This project will become a gateway into the City of Bradenton.
